Community Based Projects
Community based projects are beekeepers that work in a community where there is a keen and strong interest in keeping honey bees.
The aim of Bee Environmental is to work with local communities to promote and educate local people of all ages the benefits of keeping honey bees. We identify a suitable site that does not pose a threat to the health and safety of the local community, and then set about with the local organisation to establish a safe site for an apiary to be set up.
A community based project could be working with schools, youth centers, elderly care centers, local parks, wild life reserves and clubs.
If you have a suitable site and want to become involved in a community based project then please click on contact us and we will contact you back.
Please note that in some cases we can get funding for community based projects and whilst funds are limited the process is strictly on a first come first bases. Please click on Donate or Sponsor to find out more.
